Analysis
Arsenal FC will be
without Kolo Toure. Striker Robin van Persie is continuing his
recovery from a thigh problem, and is expected back in training
with Arsenal later this week following a spell of rehabilitation
in Holland.
Newcastle midfielder
Joey Barton will return to the squad for the trip after his bail
conditions were altered. However, striker Mark Viduka will not
travel south with manager Kevin Keegan having decided to give
him more time to recover from his calf injury ahead of Sunday's
derby clash with former club Middlesbrough. Midfielder Emre
completes his three-match ban while Habib Beye, Abdoulaye Faye,
Geremi and Obafemi Martins are away on African Nations Cup duty.
